Prisoner of Fear

You may have heard of the term P-O-W, which means “Prisoner of War,” but have you heard of the term P-O-F? POF stands for Prisoner of Fear.

I knew someone who was a POF before he met Christ. His name was Billy, and he was absolutely riddled with fear and anxiety. His bondage to fear was beginning to rule his life.

Then, one day, Billy came to know Jesus in a personal way. He read Psalm 23:4 in the Bible, which says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” And he clung to that promise.

Slowly, but surely, Billy’s bondage to fear was broken. He was no longer a prisoner.

Do you know someone who is a POF?  Reach out to them today with the great news of God’s comfort.  There is hope and freedom from fear in Jesus Christ.

“There is hope and freedom from fear in Jesus Christ.”

Psalm 23:4

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”
