The Search for Truth

I heard the heart-wrenching story of a young man who spent several years traveling the world, meeting with gurus, shamans, and the like, in a search for spiritual enlightenment. He disappeared in a remote valley of the Himalayas.*

I call it a heart-wrenching story because I find it tragic that someone with such a desperate desire to find the truth, as far as I know, never heard the Good News about Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and people need to know that. We are to tell everyone the Gospel. 

I love to proclaim the Good News to crowds – the more people there are, the better I like it.

Others are more like my father-in-law who introduces pretty much everyone he meets to Jesus in face-to-face conversations. 

Whatever opportunities we have to let others know about Jesus, let’s make the most of them. God will do the rest – bringing people into His family.
