But...

The word “but” is a conjunction in the English language. It connects two phrases or clauses. I like it because it often means there is something else to be known.

In the book of Ephesians, chapter 2, the writer uses the word so beautifully. He's reminding the Church of who they are in Jesus.

He says, “You were separate from Christ, excluded, foreigners to the promises of God without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:12-13)

Is there a “but” in your life, or has your story not changed? Are you still separate from God? Today can be your “but.” Today you can say, “Yes Lord!” You know, He loves you. Will you make today the day your story changes?

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“Are you still separate from God? Today can be your “but.” Today you can say, “Yes Lord!” You know, He loves you. Will you make today the day your story changes?”

Ephesians 2:13

“But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.”
