The Burden Bearer

What do you do with your stress, the burdens you carry?

Some of us eat. Some of us sleep. Some of us ignore our troubles or we exercise. Many of us lean toward vices that are very destructive.

But there are some burdens that are so heavy they meet us each morning and lie beside us in the bed at night.

Listen to these words: “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.”

He doesn’t pat us on the head and say, “There, there. Everything will be okay.” This verse says He bears our burdens. That means He will carry them; and not just once. Every day.

What is weighing you down? Give it to Him. Maybe you gave Him your burdens yesterday, but you’ve taken them up again today.

Lay your burdens at His feet. He cares for you. He is big enough and strong enough to carry your burdens.

“Lay your burdens at His feet. He cares for you. He is big enough and strong enough to carry your burdens.”

Psalm 68:19

“Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.”
