Spiritual Armor

Do you have what you need to be victorious?

In Ephesians chapter 6, Paul urges us to put on spiritual armor in order to protect ourselves from the enemy.

He writes, "Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes…”

There's no demilitarized zone in this war. Either we're standing in the strength of God's power or we’re knocked down in defeat. We can’t walk a line somewhere between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light.

How is your personal war against the devil going? Can you say, "Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph"? Or are you experiencing failure and defeat?

Perfection is impossible until we get to heaven, but you can experience ongoing victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. Just make good use of the armor God gives you.

Ephesians 6:11

“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”
