Miracles of Jesus
When Jesus was here on the earth, He did many miracles. Lots of people wanted to get close to Him only because of what He could do for them.
They were not as interested in who He was, or how they could give God glory – but were hungry for the bread He multiplied and the healing that came from His touch. But we learn a lot about who Jesus is through what He did.
At one time, Jesus was grieving over the gruesome death of his cousin, John the Baptist. He tried to get some time alone, but a huge crowd of people followed Him and He had compassion on them. The Bible tells us He healed the sick people in the crowd.
We see from this that Jesus sees us. He cares about us. And He has the power to change our lives. Not even His own deep grief stopped His heart from aching for the needs of the people.
Bring your hurts to Jesus right now, knowing that He sees and cares.
