God Is Consistent

Our failures don't change God. Do you remember the story of Jesus and His disciples at the Last Supper? Right before He went to the cross?

Jesus tells His friends that that night, all of them would fall away...

Peter boldly says, "Never, Lord!"

But sure enough, as Jesus was taken before the leaders, Peter denies Jesus three times. He says, "I do not know this man."

His friend- the one who loved him, the one who taught him and cared for him. All of the disciples did fall away, but that didn't change Jesus' actions.

He didn't decide. Wow… my friends. I'm not sure they're worth dying for.

Jesus went to the cross. We're all Peter, and Jesus died for us.

Always remember there is hope with God.

“We're all Peter, and Jesus died for us.”

Matthew 26:75

“Suddenly, Jesus’ words flashed through Peter’s mind: ‘Before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me.’ And he went away, weeping bitterly.”
