Chasing Fantasy

How often have you heard it said, “Let your imagination run wild! Imagination? It’s important. It’s from God. When it’s in control? That’s wonderful. But chasing fantasies?! That’s a trap and a recipe for disaster.

In Proverbs 28 it says this,

“Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty. A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one who is eager to get rich will not go unpunished.”

Pop culture today tends to claim false routes to peace: self-forgiveness, manifesting… These are cheap imitations of truth, and they will destroy you.

Come instead, to God. He paid the penalty Himself and made the full payment on your behalf. And now, right now, He offers you new life.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“He paid the penalty Himself and made the full payment on your behalf.”

Proverbs 28:19-20

“A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty. The trustworthy person will get a rich reward, but a person who wants quick riches will get into trouble.”
