Are you dead?

Are you dead? You’re probably saying, “What’s wrong with you, Wendy? Of course not. I’m here, I’m breathing, there’s blood in my veins, my heart is beating.”

Could I ask you, though, “Are you dead spiritually?”

Every one of us has a spiritual side. Physically, yes, we’re alive, but is the spiritual side of us alive or dead?

Ephesians 2 tells us that there are things we do that bring death to our spiritual lives. Things that destroy us and the people around us.

But there is another way. Jesus, because of His great love, offers us life. Because of His mercy, He says, I took death so that you can experience spiritual life—life that is truly life.

Are you dead spiritually? You can have life!
