Are you far from God?

Does God feel like a distant thought? Or do you feel like God has pulled away from you because of something you’ve done?

You might feel far from God, but He isn’t far from you.

Ephesians 2 tells us that because of the work of God’s Son, Jesus, on the cross, we are brought near. Jesus came and preached peace to us who are far and to us who are near.

That word, peace, means wholeness.

Jesus reconciles us to God to bring us near. And it doesn’t depend on us; it depends on Him, and the work is done.

If you feel far from God, why don’t you just turn your heart to Him today?

Say, “Jesus, I feel far. But I know you’ve done all that is needed for me to be near. Thank you, Lord. Forgive me. In the name of Jesus, amen.”

Always remember there is hope with God.

“Jesus, because of His great love, offers us life.”

Ephesians 2:17

“He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near.”
