An All-Powerful Servant

Who is the most powerful leader you can think of? Maybe it’s the president of a country, a business owner, or a celebrity.

Now, imagine that person coming to your house and washing your laundry. It would never happen!

But Jesus used His great power to become… like a servant—because He is our humble king.

In Philippians 2, the Bible says that Jesus did not cling to His divine power. He relinquished it and became like a servant when He took the form of a human being. And He humbled Himself, dying criminal’s death on the cross.

Jesus didn’t come with a power that dominates and controls, but with a powerful love—willing to give everything for me and for you. And He wants to wash you—clean you from every wrong thing you’ve ever done. He is offering you the promise of eternal life.

Will you let the humble king become the ruler of your life today?

“Jesus didn’t come with a power that dominates and controls, but with a powerful love—willing to give everything for me and for you.”

Philippians 2:7-8

“Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”
