Your Deepest Needs

In one of the wisest statements ever penned, Augustine wrote in prayer to God, “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are always restless until they rest in you.”

Every human soul, whether a person realizes it or not, has an insatiable longing to be with God. Some are just better at ignoring it!

As the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 42

As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.

Do you feel like you’ve been running a marathon your whole life, always feeling like peace is just out of reach? I want to tell you right now…that peace will never come.

UNLESS…

You return at last to the one who made you. Bring all your deepest desires for fulfillment and belonging, freedom, and safety. Bring them to God.

He is the one your soul needs, and He loves you. He’s ready to receive you even now. Will you give Him your heart?

“He is the one your soul needs, and He loves you.”

Psalm 42:1

“As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.”
