We Need a Savior

As brilliant as some humans are, we cannot heal ourselves. We are not capable of rescuing ourselves from the brokenness that has affected humanity since the Garden of Eden. No amount of effort can set us free from the sin that enslaves us.

In John 12, Jesus says…

For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

If we were to stand before a judge, on our own merit, we would all be found guilty.

But for those who believe, we are not to be judged on our own wrongness—but on Jesus’ rightness. He took the punishment we deserved and washed us clean with His blood.

If you need Jesus to come, and be your savior, you can ask Him today. You can pray…

Jesus, I receive your sacrifice. Thank You for loving me, even though I didn't know you. Be Lord of my life and wash me clean of all my sin. Thank you. Amen.

“He took the punishment we deserved and washed us clean with His blood.”

John 12:46-47

I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it.”
