The Same Old Story
I returned to a place I haven’t visited for a few years, and I noticed a lot of changes. I even got lost because things are so different from my memory of them. We are used to this, and actually expect it.
But there is one thing at least which never changes, and that is the message of the Gospel.
Sure, the ways we share the Good News have evolved some – like the music has got louder, and the church buildings might look different, with trendy names.
But the message of the Gospel has and always will remain the same. It is complete and perfect. The words of John 3:16 are as relevant today as they were when Jesus spoke them.
Each of us knows people who need to hear this life-giving message. Here it is in a nutshell: “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Share it today!
