Change That Lasts

Matt was popular. But he used various substances and people for his own pleasure. Eventually he realized his ways were selfish and leading down a destructive path. So he tried to pull himself up and clean up his act.

Matt did everything he could, but nothing produced lasting change. He would always end up right back where he started with the same old bad habits.

Finally, Matt turned to God and was radically transformed. Jesus gave him a new heart, and a brand-new life.

He experienced what we read about in 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

If you know someone who has tried everything to make themselves better, tell them how Jesus can truly change them. He alone can make a person new.
