The Gospel

The word “Gospel” simply means good news. It’s full of joy. We celebrate good news, and the Gospel of Jesus is the best news ever. And what is this news?

First Peter 3:18 says it perfectly. “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God.”

That’s it! Jesus did everything that was needed to bring us to God. In John chapter one we read: “To all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.” 

God loves you and wants you to be in His family. By dying on the cross to pay for your sins, He made a way for that to be possible. All you need to do is accept His offer.
