Safety and Security

We all have a compulsion to protect ourselves and the people we love. We crave safety and security. But even if you were the richest person alive, you could not guard against every danger and difficulty.

True security comes from Jesus alone. He is God, and He offers a safe and secure eternal place in His family for all who put their trust in Him. He gives peace and security to each of us who belong to Him – who are in His family.

In First John 5:20 we read, “We know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.”

We will never have enough strength or enough money to keep ourselves safe. But Jesus is enough!
