Rules Aren't Enough

Rules don’t fix things, do they? They just let us know when we go wrong.

Even God’s rules – we call them the Ten Commandments – couldn’t take away our wrongdoing.

And we human beings found it impossible to perfectly obey every one of them. It is so easy for us to sin! Oh, maybe nothing monstrous, but even a little slip-up is a breach of the rules.

So how on earth can we make things right? Do we have to live with guilt all our lives? No!

Jesus made a plan to pay for all the sins of all people once and for all. He died on the cross, taking the punishment we deserve. 

Jesus made that sacrifice for you. Have you received what Jesus has done on your behalf? Will you ask Him to come into your heart as your Savior and Friend today?
