Psalm 147

I have so many favorite verses in the Bible, and some of them are found in Psalm 147.

Listen to these words, "The Lord's delight is in those who fear Him, in those who put their hope in his unfailing love."

What an encouragement. I don't have to impress or to delight God. He's not looking down to see how strong I am or how good I am, or how obedient I am.

His delight is in those who fear him. And that just means those who see Him for who He is. That He is God, He is king; He is Creator, He is ruler. And He delights in those who put their hope in His love.

Do you feel weak today? Do you feel incapable? Believe He is who He says He is, and put your hope in His love.
