Peace Is Not the Absence of Pain

Have you spent your life seeking peace? Maybe you’ve worked hard at finding peace…through silence, or discipline, or practicing kindness. And yet, sometimes pain still assails you.

Jesus once said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”

His peace can enter into your heart if you want it. It doesn’t erase the pain, but it holds you in the middle of it. It doesn’t depend on perfection or performance. It comes from being loved deeply and unconditionally.

It’s a peace that brings healing, not escape. A peace that stays.

What if true peace isn’t something you have to chase, but someone who comes close to you and sits with you in your sorrow, and carries your burdens as His own?

The source of this peace, Jesus, is closer than you think—and ready for you right now.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“The source of this peace, Jesus, is closer than you think—and ready for you right now.”

John 14:27

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
