Does God hear you?

What do you imagine God hears when you cry out to Him? Maybe you wonder if He’s listening. Maybe you wonder if He’s even real.

In Psalm 18, the writer says:

“In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried out to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him… into his ears.”

What a beautiful image. The interesting thing about these words is that the writer says:

“I cried out to my God.” Is He your God? Are you His child? Do you know Him?

When you call out to Him, you’re not crying to an unknown force in the universe; you’re calling out to a Father—a Father who loves you and gave Himself for you.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“When you call out to Him, you’re not crying to an unknown force in the universe; you’re calling out to a Father—a Father who loves you and gave Himself for you.”

Psalm 18:6

“But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.”
