Jesus Loves Everyone

Kids and dogs can tell if you care about them. Have you noticed? They will keep their distance if they sense that you don’t like them. But if you feel genuine affection for them, they are all over you.

Jesus loves everyone, which is a big reason why so many people wanted to be near Him. Crowds followed Him from place to place and jostled with one another for His attention.

Once, Jesus told three stories which illustrate how God loves people. He loves like a shepherd who lost a sheep, like a woman who lost a coin, and like a father who lost a son.

There is longing and urgency in His love. But when all the lost are restored, there is a celebration. The joy can’t be contained.

Do you care for people who don’t share your faith?

Remember that God loves them deeply. Ask Him to help you love them too. Ask Him to give you a concern for them that would reflect His heart.
