The Most Important Thing

It’s common for us humans to get so caught up in the details of something that we miss the big picture. It also can be a common issue in the church.

We might be so involved in choosing new drapes for the sanctuary, or planning the next potluck meal that we don’t notice the passerby who stopped in.

We can get so caught up in the small things that we miss the opportunity to share the only thing that really matters: Jesus loves us! He came to earth to give His life for us. He died on the cross so we could have forgiveness for all our wrongdoing.

The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Keep your eyes open to see the big picture. God loves everyone. And Jesus would love to meet your friends. Will you introduce them to Him?

John 3:16

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
