How long is the night?

How long will you suffer? How long will you cry? How long will this ache fill your soul?

I don't know. But I do know it won't be forever. One day you will have joy. God promises it.

Listen to these words from Psalm 30. "Weeping will remain for a night. But joy comes in the morning."

These are hopeful, comforting words. No night lasts forever. The sun will rise, and we need to look for it. Expect it and take comfort in this unchanging truth.

Your joy will be restored, my friend. Turn your heart to hope today. Turn your heart to the one who brings the dawn, who is the Light of the world, Jesus. And that Light is stronger than the darkness.
