He Sacrifices Himself for Us
I’ve met a lot of Christians who feel too far removed from Jesus; they can’t make that personal connection with the cross.
It’s easy to feel like you’re just a random person who happens to be grouped into the others that Jesus died for. But Jesus loves you on a personal level.
And when He was on the cross, He died for all of your sins—for every time you fell short, messed up, or made a mistake. He did it for you.
Jesus didn’t just die for the outspoken Christians, or the missionaries, or the pastors, or for me. Jesus died for all of us because He loves all of us.
And that means He loves you more than you can possibly fathom. He knows your deepest wounds, all of your secrets, and any shame you might carry—and He loves you anyway.
Romans 5:8 says…
God showed His love for us in this—that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Remember, there is always hope with God.
