He Doesn’t Grow Weary of Us

If you're like me, sometimes you feel exhausting to God. So needy—always coming to Him with problems or weaknesses or failures.

There's a story in Matthew 15. Jesus is teaching and healing a great crowd of people. And they have many needs. After three days, Jesus realizes they have even another need—they're hungry.

Instead of being frustrated and exhausted because of this situation, Jesus has compassion. And not only is He compassionate, He is able to meet their need, and He miraculously feeds them.

We can't wear God out. He's not like us—thank goodness. He's not tired of you. He sees your need, and He's the only one able to meet it.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“He's not tired of you. He sees your need, and He's the only one able to meet it.”

Matthew 15:32

Then Jesus called his disciples and told them, ‘I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.’”
