He Calls You by Name
According to the Book of John, the first to see Jesus after He rose from the dead was Mary Magdalene. She had come to weep at His tomb. Jesus approached her and asked, “Why are you weeping?”
Even though He spoke to her twice, she did not recognize Him. Then, something beautiful happened. Jesus called out to her by name, “Mary.”
At that moment, she knew it was Jesus, and she cried out in joy. And she went and shared the happy news with the other disciples; just as He promised, He had come alive.
Do you hear God calling your name today? You can let your old life, all your mistakes, all your deadly habits, be buried. You can come out of that grave, washed clean by God’s grace, a new person altogether.
Ask Him to come into your heart, to forgive you of all your sins, and place His love like a seal over your heart.
Always remember there is hope with God.
