Gratitude Changes Us

Did you know, according to an article by UCLA Health, practicing gratitude helps reduce depression and anxiety, it improves sleep, and even improves heart health? There’s so many benefits to taking a posture of gratitude!

1 Thessalonians says,

Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thankfulness is a form of inwardly rejoicing, being humbled by the gifts we’ve received in our lives. God is the giver of all those good gifts. He is the one worthy of our gratitude, worthy of our rejoicing.

Maybe it’s been a while since you talked to God. Ask God for what you need and thank Him for the many blessings in your life. Listen then for His voice, and know that He loves you relentlessly.

Remember, there is always hope with God.

“Thankfulness is a form of inwardly rejoicing, being humbled by the gifts we’ve received in our lives.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
