The Great Giver

We can so easily believe the lie that God is a taker, not a giver, especially when pain walks through our door, or grief, or disappointment.

When our world falls apart, we wonder… what kind of God are you?

You might be like me, and you pray, God, I used to believe that you were a giver, and now I’m worried that you’re a taker.

How do we re-orient ourselves? There’s only one way. Look at HIM. Remember what He has done. Remember who He is. Remember what He’s promised. Remember that He is the ultimate giver.

He gave everything- His very own son. He knows you, and He loves you. And He says, I’ll never leave you.

Always remember, there is hope with God.
