God Knows Best

God told Noah to build a huge boat. You know the story.

But can you imagine the ridicule he received as he was building it? His neighbors laughed when he told them a flood was coming. I’m sure they thought Noah had completely lost it.

Noah had bold faith. Even in the face of skepticism and derision, he still did what God asked him to do. Noah saved his family and humanity by doing so.

St. Paul wrote, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

When you follow God, you will undoubtedly come up against critics and scoffers. But God will show you His will and let you know what is right. Don’t copy the ways of the world. Follow God’s wonderful plan for your life.

“Don’t copy the ways of the world. Follow God’s wonderful plan for your life.”

Romans 12:2

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
