The Gift of Mercy

Do you have a secret? Maybe something you've done that haunts you—maybe an addiction or a sin that no one knows about? And you are wrestling?

I want to encourage you today.

First, you can't hide from God. He knows everything you do and think. This shouldn't scare you, but comfort you. He knows it all, and He still loves you.

Secondly, there's a way to deal with your sin, your failures, your internal struggles.

Proverbs 28 says,

The one who conceals their sin does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Don't try to conceal your sin from God. Confess your sin, renounce your failures, humble yourself before Him. He is merciful towards you.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“Confess your sin, renounce your failures, humble yourself before Him. He is merciful towards you.”

Proverbs 28:13

People who conceal their sins will not prosper,
but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.”
