Different Approaches
If you read the gospels, you will notice that nearly every time Jesus talked with someone, he used a new approach. Every conversation was different from the others. Why is that?
It must be because every individual comes from a different place with different beliefs, misconceptions, hang ups and sins, different needs. Jesus, of course, understood everything about a person before he even met them.
But we don't. We need to listen sympathetically to their story before we can have a conversation with them about spiritual things.
Jesus can be our example. He tailored his conversation specifically to the needs of the individual. The life changing message of the good news gospel of Jesus Christ never changes, but each person needs to hear it in a way that is understandable and relatable.
Let's share that wonderful message with the people we meet today.
