You Have Been Called

Sometimes my wife, Wendy, will call me and ask me to pick something up for her on the way home from the office, or my daughter will ask me to drive her to the mall. Of course, because I love them, I’m happy to do these things for them. I’ve found most people respond this way to the ones they love.

What if God asked you to do something for Him? Do you love Him enough to do as He asks? Actually, God doesn’t ask us for favors as the people in our lives do, but He kindly directs and commands us.

For instance, In John 15, Jesus said, “I command you to love each other in the same way I love you.”

And then, in Mark, we read that Jesus told His followers, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone.”

The point is Jesus has given you specific direction in life. He is guiding, directing, and even commanding you.

He wants you to share the Good News of Jesus with the world. Will you answer His call?
