Why isn't God answering my prayers?

Have you experienced suffering? We all will if we haven’t already.

Maybe you’ve prayed, hoped, and waited for an end to the suffering, and…it just hasn’t happened. It’s easy to get frustrated with God when He doesn’t answer our prayers in the way we want Him to, when we want Him to.

But, be encouraged. In Psalm 102, the Bible says, “He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.”

Even if you’ve been praying for something for ages and you haven’t seen a change—God hears you. He sees you, and He feels every ache of your heart. He has not forgotten you.

When we don’t get the answers we’d like from God, it’s okay to feel badly about it. You can even get on your knees before God and tell Him how frustrated you are—He understands.

Know in your heart today that He loves you. Keep asking for what you need, and don’t give up. God is a Good Father.

There is hope with God.
