Was Jesus only a man or was he God?

Was Jesus a man? Or was he God? Or was he both?

A 2015 survey by the Church of England found that 22 percent of adults in England did not even believe Jesus was a real person.

Was he a real man? Yes.

But when we look not only to the Bible, but also to secular records from Jewish and Roman historians, there’s good evidence that Jesus walked the earth.

Was he God? Yes.

When Jesus was baptized, John the Baptist saw the Spirit come down from Heaven as a dove and remain on Him. John said, “I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.” And after Jesus rose from the grave, his doubting disciple, Thomas, cried out to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

So Jesus was both fully man and fully God. God—who created the Heavens and the Earth and every living thing—was born to a virgin and lived for about 33 years on this earth. He died and rose from the grave, and after teaching and healing many, was lifted up to Heaven right in plain sight of the crowd.

What a miracle!
