When will it all end?

The world in its present state cannot last forever. And people drive themselves crazy wondering when and how it’s all going to come to an end.

The Bible talks about Jesus coming back to remake the world into something new. People were wondering about it even in the time of Jesus, and they asked Him—When will it all happen?

And this is what He said:

…no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

My dad admired the habit of an old preacher who would get up each morning and look at the sky through the window, and he’d say, “Maybe today, Lord…maybe today.” That preacher knew…no matter the timing of the Big End, our earthly lives are so short.

I don’t know about you, but I want to spend every day of my life on something that will last beyond this world. I want to spend it serving Jesus.

Christ can make an eternal difference in your life. Will you open your heart to Him today?
