What can we agree on?

We don’t have to let our differences exclude people from feeling welcomed into the family of God.

Some people associate Christianity with certain political views or what they might have to give up. What if, instead of focusing on our differences, we focused on what we can agree on?

Ephesians 2 says this…

Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups [that means the Jewish people and all the rest of the world] he reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

Jesus’ love for us is big enough to bridge all our differences. There’s no need to try to prove we’re right, others are wrong. What we need to do is share God’s unifying love.

The next time you share the Good News, keep your focus on the common ground of love.

Remember, there is always hope with God.

“Jesus’ love for us is big enough to bridge all our differences.”

Ephesians 2:16

“Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.”
