We Are the Church

Let’s talk about the Church. The Church is how we connect with other members of God’s family. It’s not a building or a denomination.

It is you and me – people who follow Jesus. It is God’s design for us to come together to worship Him, to make Him known, to serve and love each other as He loves us. It also gives us the opportunity to practice forgiving one another as He has forgiven us.

When you attend a church, you will find a lot of heartache and people who are broken. Together, you get to journey toward God. As we work out what God requires of us, we get to express grace to one another.

The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, “Let us not neglect our meeting together as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Be committed to your local church and you will bless others. And you’ll be blessed yourself.
