Think Differently

Have you ever felt a dislike for the Christian church because you feel like they are always calling people to repent? 

In Matthew 4, at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, when He began to preach, He said these words,

“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

The word for repent used here simply means: Think differently, reconsider, turn from thinking about the world one way, and think differently. 

Is Jesus calling you to repent, to think differently? Part of repenting is saying, Lord, I’m wrong. I was wrong. I acted wrongly. Will you forgive me?

And you can do that today, even right now. Turn your heart to Him and repent. 

Always remember, there is hope with God.
