The Light

The very first words attributed to God in Genesis 1 are, “Let there be light.” It says that God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.

Here is the beginning of the separation between light and darkness. God is not content for darkness to hover over the earth. Or over us! The light is good!

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world; if you follow me, you will never walk in darkness.”

Are you drawn to the darkness? Or maybe today you feel overwhelmed by darkness.

Follow Jesus. How? Say to Him right now, wherever you are, “Jesus, I want to follow you. Separate me from the darkness. Give me the light of life.”

Always remember, there is hope with God.
