The Good News

Did you know that the word ‘Gospel’ simply means good news? What is the good news that I’m talking about?

I think it’s said best in 1 Peter: “Christ (that’s Jesus) suffered for our sins once and for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death but was raised to life in the Spirit.”

That’s it. And it’s good news! We all need to come home to God. It’s everything that is needed for us to have a relationship with our creator.

And how do we respond? Listen to this: “To all who believed him (Jesus) and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.”

This is good news! Do you believe it?
