Not a Reward

One of the most beautiful things about salvation in Jesus Christ is that we cannot earn it, and we could never even deserve it. When I was still dead in my sins, Christ loved me! And He sacrificed Himself to save me and give me life that is truly life!

Ephesians 2 says…

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

This means that when you share the Gospel with others, you’re not bragging about your own righteousness, for sure. You’re not shaming others for their sin.

You’re simply talking about the grace and the love of God. The love that He showed you when you did nothing to deserve it. And you’re then offering others the chance to believe and receive that amazing gift of God’s salvation.

Will you share it today?

Remember, there is always hope with God.

“You’re simply talking about the grace and the love of God. The love that He showed you when you did nothing to deserve it.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”
