No One Has More Authority

What do you think of when you hear the word “authority”? Maybe you think of the government, the police, or an expert on a specific subject.

There are many voices in this world telling us what we should do, what we must do. And when those messages conflict, it can be very confusing.

But there is one voice we can count on above all others.

In Matthew 28, we’re told…

Jesus came and told his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

The next time you feel confused about what’s right or wrong—the next time you don’t know who to listen to in the chaos of all the messaging—turn to Jesus.

Look to the Word of God and pray. Ask Him—ask God to show you what to do. He is the final authority.

Matthew 28:18
