Let Your Light Shine
Experts say that the best way to make a child feel secure and loved is for the parents to love each other. I’d like to add that one of the best ways to raise a child who loves God is to love Him wholeheartedly yourself.
If your kids see you praying, reading your Bible, worshiping at church, and making Jesus the center point of your life, they will be inclined to do those same things. On the other hand, if you don’t model those things, your kids won’t be able to soak that in.
If you make your faith a priority in your daily life, others will notice. Whether you have young, impressionable children or are simply going about in the corporate world, others are watching you. They want to know what difference your faith makes in your life.
Let God’s love shine through you to your children and others around you. You can be the light of Christ to people who need to know Him.
