An Invitation to Grow

Someone once asked me, “How can I be joyful at Christmas?” He said, “I was unfaithful and my spouse left me years ago. And now, I’m alone, and filled with regret.”

I shared that Jesus came to save us from our sins—even the worst of them! This is more than enough reason to celebrate Jesus at Christmas.

When an angel told Mary she’d give birth to the Son of God, she said, “How will this be…since I’m a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”

Jesus came as a baby so that He could live and die for you and me.

As Christmas approaches, open your heart to Jesus. Then, rest in His grace. Let Jesus free you, and fill your life with His abundance.

Luke 1:35
