He Is Your High Priest
Did you know that you don’t need a priest, a pastor, or any other kind of leader to make it possible for you to connect with God?
Listen to this amazing passage from the book of Hebrews (the Bible itself) -it says,
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever…
Long ago, it was necessary to have a priest enter the sanctuary to make sacrifices on behalf of all people. But Jesus became the ULTIMATE high priest! He made the ULTIMATE sacrifice—Himself—to pay for the sins of the world, once and for all.
Jesus is your high priest. He has made a way for you to be completely forgiven and forever intimately connected with God. There is nothing between you and God because Jesus has acted on your behalf to bring you into His presence.
He is your high priest.
“There is nothing between you and God because Jesus has acted on your behalf to bring you into His presence.”
Hebrews 6:19-20
