God's Economy

Listen to these words of Jesus in Luke 6: “Give away your life; you’ll find life given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way.” This is called “God’s economy.” The beautiful paradox that’s the kingdom of God.

The very thing we want, we must give away - submitting our lives to the lordship and the authority of Jesus. As we walk with God through Jesus, we receive all we have ever longed for.

C.S. Lewis said it like this: “Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him, everything else thrown in.”

Give away your life and you will find life given back.

Luke 6:38

 “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
