Fix Your Eyes

There was a time in my life when my days were full of grief. I had just lost our third baby in a late-term stillbirth. I was dark, confused, depressed. I didn’t understand why God hadn’t answered my prayer to save our child.

In the midst of this season there was a verse in 2 Corinthians that helped to lift my grief. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I had been looking at my grief, but as I began to lift my eyes, I slowly began to believe in faith for healing and I found comfort in God’s presence.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“I had been looking at my grief, but as I began to lift my eyes, I slowly began to believe in faith for healing and I found comfort in God’s presence.”

2 Corinthians 4:18

“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
