Entangled

What’s entangling you today? Maybe a situation, maybe it’s a habit, or even an addiction.

There’s a verse in the book of Hebrews that says: “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

Sin entangles. And that word means “a serious hindrance that hampers someone who desperately needs to advance.”

The first step forward is to realize that you’ve become entangled. You are not running as freely as you should be or could be. Ask God to forgive you. He will. The second step is to decide to throw it off once and for all.

Nothing compares to running your race freely, without a constant sense of guilt or shame. Ask Him to help you become disentangled.

Hebrews 12:1

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
