Deep Love

Did you know the deepest part of the ocean is nearly seven miles deep? It’s in the western Pacific Ocean and it’s filled with weird creatures that are adapted to the extreme environment down there. They look like something made up for a science fiction movie.

Learning about the deepest oceans helps me understand the verse in the Bible in which Paul talks about the “breadth and length and height and depth” of God’s love. He also says that the love of Christ is too great to understand.

I’ve got to say, those deep-sea creatures are beyond my understanding. But if God created them and gave them what they need to survive, how much more does He love us, His children – made in His own image?

Our world needs this kind of love, and we can share it. If we can love our neighbors a fraction of how much God loves us, we can move them towards our Lord Jesus Christ.

“If we can love our neighbors a fraction of how much God love us, we can move them towards our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 3:19

“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
